Basketball Recap: Pleasant Valley Comes Up Short

If Pleasant Valley was feeling good fresh off their 37-14 takedown of Ragland last Tuesday, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. The Pleasant Valley Raiders took a 39-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ohatchee Indians on Friday. Sadly, that's the third time they've come up short against the Raiders this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 70-28 back in December of 2024.

Pleasant Valley's loss dropped their record down to 4-13. As for Ohatchee, their victory ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 12-8.

While Pleasant Valley had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 10:00 a.m. on Monday.
