League recap: Stevens dominating on the mound for Rocky Mountain

5A Front Range league recap: 5/22/13

Tyler Stevens was the best pitcher in 5A Front Range this week, leading Rocky Mountain. Over the past week, he had one win and five Ks.

The Lobos outpaced the rest of the league this week, as their two total wins led the league. Rocky Mountain beat Legend 5-4 and Chatfield 2-0.

The Lobos boasted the best pitching over the past week, holding opponents to the league's fewest hits and issuing the fewest walks.

Grant Gamble, Carl Stajduhar and Spencer Ibarra hit home runs this week.



Rocky Mountain's Stajduhar was locked in this week, and led the league with a .444 average (4-for-9) over that span. For the season, he's hitting .467, good for tenth in the league. Stajduhar has totaled 35 hits this season.
