Softball Recap: Prosper Comes Up Short

Prosper was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They might be feeling deja-vu: they lost 13-2 to the Brenham Cubs, which was the same score (and result) they got the week prior.

Prosper saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Analia Dishong, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with one stolen base and one RBI. That stolen base was Dishong's first of the season.

Prosper's defeat dropped their record down to 4-7. As for Brenham, they now have a winning record of 5-4.

Prosper and Brenham will both get their first taste of in-conference action in their upcoming games. The Eagles are set to face off against their familiar foe McKinney Boyd at 7:15 p.m. on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Brenham will challenge rival College Station at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
