Muenster is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Monday. They skirted past Seymour 42-40. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Hornets have posted since November 26, 2024.

Meanwhile, Nocona won against Hico on Thursday with 61 points and they decided to stick to that point total again on Monday. Nocona strolled past Collinsville with points to spare, taking the game 61-44. The Indians pushed the score to 49-27 by the end of the third, a deficit the Pirates cut but never quite recovered from.

Nocona's victory was their 11th straight at home, which pushed their record up to 26-5. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 78.0 points over those games. As for Muenster, their win bumped their record up to 28-9.

Muenster lost to Nocona on the road by a decisive 58-43 margin when the teams last played back in February of 2024. Can Muenster avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
