Baseball Game Preview: Frazier Commodores vs. Chartiers-Houston Buccaneers

Frazier is 1-9 against Chartiers-Houston since April of 2018 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Tuesday. The Commodores will host the Buccaneers at 4:30 p.m. Frazier is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.1 runs per game this season.

Frazier is headed into Tuesday's match looking for a big change in momentum after dropping their fifth straight game on Monday. They lost 9-2 to Fort Cherry.

Meanwhile, Chartiers-Houston beat Frazier 4-1 on Monday. The victory continues a trend for the Buccaneers in their matchups with the Commodores: they've now won nine in a row.

Aaron Walsh was excellent, going 2-for-3 with four stolen bases and one RBI. Those four stolen bases gave him a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Cale Bitz, who went a perfect 2-for-2 with two RBI.

Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Frazier has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .441. However, it's not like Chartiers-Houston struggles in that department as they've averaged .451. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
