The Preston Indians will head out on the road to face off against the Bonneville Bees at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Preston's favor is that they have posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
Preston is probably headed into the matchup with a chip on their shoulder considering Bear Lake just ended the team's six-game winning streak on Wednesday. They took a 14-11 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Bears.

Averie Madsen stepped up to lead a balanced group of hitters: she got on base in four of her five plate appearances with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more stolen bases the last four times she's played. Another player making a difference was Paisley Campbell, who got on base in all four of her plate appearances with one stolen base, one run, and one double.
Meanwhile, Bonneville waltzed into their contest on Wednesday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They blew past the Tigers 13-1. The Bees might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won nine games by seven runs or more this season.
Gracie Longhurst was a major factor no matter where she played. She looked comfortable on the mound, tossing four innings while giving up just one earned run off four hits. Longhurst was also big at the plate, going 3-for-4 with one run, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Alyvia Rudd, who fired off two home runs, six RBI, and three runs while going 3-for-4. Those two home runs gave her a new career-high. Evelyn Ryan was another key player, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.
Bonneville was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .379. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as Idaho Falls only posted a batting average of .158.
Preston's loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 7-1 and their overall record down to 19-2. As for Bonneville, their record is now 16-6.
