Meanwhile, Casa Grande came up short against Salesian College Preparatory on Thursday, falling 3-0.

While Casa Grande was kept off the board, it wasn't for a lack of trying: they cut into Salesian College Preparatory's winning margin in every set. The match finished with set scores of 25-16, 25-21, 25-23.

Casa Grande's loss dropped their record down to 7-14. As for Justin-Siena, their defeat dropped their record down to 12-9.

Justin-Siena beat Casa Grande 3-1 in their previous matchup back in September. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Braves since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
