Filer dropped down to 5-2 on Wednesday, ending the team's five-game streak of wins. They received a blow as they fell 56-42 to the Kimberly Bulldogs. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Wildcats of the 74-46 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January.

Filer's loss came despite strong showings from Brook Parker and Peyton Hollifield. Parker posted seven points along with ten boards and three steals, while Hollifield earned six points and three steals.

As for Kimberly, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 2-5. Their offense stepped up their game for this one, as that was the most points they've scored all season.

Taya Plew had an outrageously good game as she dropped a double-double with 20 points and ten rebounds. With that strong performance, she is now averaging an impressive 16.5 points per game. Joy Hanchey also deserves some recognition as she grabbed her first steal of the season.

Filer didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 42-32 victory against Snake River on the 13th. As for Kimberly, they have also already played their next game, a 52-51 defeat against Bishop Kelly on the 11th.
