Baseball Recap: Standley Lake Takes a Loss

Standley Lake was the 4-1 winner over Conifer when they last played one another back in March, but their luck changed this time around. The Gators lost 17-2 to the Lobos on Thursday.

Standley Lake saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Titus Schrecengost, who went 2-for-3 with two runs.

Standley Lake now has a losing record of 8-9. As for Conifer, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-11.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Standley Lake is set to face off against their familiar foe Evergreen at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Conifer will take on rival Littleton at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday.
