Westside entered their tilt with West Laurens on Thursday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They strolled past the Raiders with points to spare, taking the game 67-53. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Patriots also won the last time the pair played back in January.

Several Raiders players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Brandon Stephens, who shot 44% from the field to rack up 19 points along with eight boards and three steals. Kingston O'Neal was another key player, putting up 16 points.

Westside's victory bumped their record up to 4-1. As for West Laurens, they are on a five-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-4.

Westside has already played their next game, a 72-62 win against Laney on the 6th. As for West Laurens, they will hit the road for the first time this season to take on Howard at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
