Volleyball Recap: L.W. Higgins Hurricanes vs. New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs
L.W. Higgins was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their third straight defeat. They came up short against the New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy Bulldogs, falling 3-0. The Hurricanes were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Bulldogs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in October of 2024.
L.W. Higgins' defeat dropped their record down to 2-10. As for New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 10-7.
Coming up, L.W. Higgins will head out to face off against New Orleans Charter Science & Math at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for New Orleans Military & Maritime Academy, they wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against St. James on the 29th.
