Byron Nelson put another one in the bag on Saturday to keep their perfect season alive. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Ryan Raiders. The Bobcat have seen this before: they got the W the last time they saw the Raiders, too.

While Byron Nelson won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The final score came out to 25-19, 25-23.

When it comes to explaining why Ryan lost, don't look at Abigail Vasquez. Despite the final result, she had 13 digs and two assists. Vasquez has been hot for a while, having posted ten or more digs the last 18 times she's played.

Byron Nelson's victory bumped their record up to 9-0. As for Ryan, they dropped their record down to 5-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Byron Nelson will challenge Keller Central at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The match will give the Bobcat their first taste of in-conference action this season. As for Ryan, they are taking a road trip to face off against Creekview at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
