Volleyball Recap: Wonewoc-Center Takes a Loss

Wonewoc-Center was the 2-0 winner over Viroqua when they last played one another back in September of 2023, but their luck changed this time around. The Wolves fell just short of the Blackhawks by a score of 2-1 on Tuesday. The Wolves have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Despite the defeat, Wonewoc-Center saw an underclassman step up: freshman Faith Daugs had 16 digs.

Allie Olson was the offensive standout of the game as she had 11 digs and one assist.

Wonewoc-Center now has a losing record of 1-2. As for Viroqua, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record up to 3-0.

Wonewoc-Center has already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Iola-Scandinavia on the 26th. As for Viroqua, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 2-1 loss against Shiocton on the 26th.
