Volleyball Recap: Macon County Takes a Loss

Macon County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their tenth straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the White House Blue Devils. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Devils this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-0 on September 4th.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-11, 25-18, 25-18.

Carleigh Rose paced Macon County's offense, picking up nine kills. Rose got some help from Lexi Patterson and her 18 assists. Shyla Goodchild controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Macon County's loss dropped their record down to 2-14. As for White House, the win got them back to even at 10-10.

Macon County wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Russell County on the 27th. As for White House, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 loss against Station Camp on the 29th.
