Baseball Recap: Umatilla Starts Season with Victory Against Pilot Rock

Umatilla had to kick off their season on the road on Tuesday, but they showed no ill effects. They came out on top against the Pilot Rock Rockets by a score of 7-4. That's more bragging rights for the Vikings, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

Rj Estrada was excellent, scoring a run and stealing a base while going 2-for-3. Brian Younger-Morris was another key player, going 1-for-4 with one triple, one run, and one RBI.

Umatilla wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, a 5-2 win against Sherman on the 19th. As for Pilot Rock, they have also already played their next matchup, a 20-5 defeat against Riverside on the 21st.
