Heritage had won three straight at home, but on Wednesday they bumped their record up to 21-10 to make it four. They were the clear victors by a 12-2 margin over the South-Doyle Cherokees. The result was nothing new for the Mountaineers, who have now won 16 matches by six runs or more so far this season.

Derek Hodge looked comfortable as he pitched two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two walks any time he's pitched this season.
