The Mooresville Blue Devils will head out on the road to challenge the Reagan Raiders at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Mooresville is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 10.6 runs per game this season.

On Wednesday, Mooresville came up short against West Rowan and fell 7-3. The match marked the Blue Devils' lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Mooresville saw eight different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Connor Robertson, who scored a run while going 1-for-4.

Meanwhile, Reagan had just enough and edged out Wesleyan Christian Academy 9-8 on Monday.

Reagan now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Mooresville, they suffered their first home loss, dropping their record down to 3-2.

Mooresville was able to grind out a solid win over Reagan in their previous matchup back in May of 2019, winning 9-6. The rematch might be a little tougher for Mooresville since the team won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
