Soccer Recap: Central Kitsap Wins Going Away Against South Kitsap

Central Kitsap hadn't done well against South Kitsap recently (they were 0-4 in their previous four matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Friday. The Central Kitsap Cougars' defense stepped up to hand the South Kitsap Wolves a 4-0 shutout. The contest marked the Cougars' most dominant win of the season so far.

The victory made it two in a row for Central Kitsap and bumps their season record up to 3-0-1. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they scored six goals over those two matches. As for South Kitsap, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Central Kitsap will have some time to savor their win since their next game is a little ways off: they'll take on Silas at 7:00 p.m. on March 27th.
