The Athens Drive Jaguars had to endure a six-game losing streak, but that streak is no more. They strolled past Enloe with points to spare on Friday, taking the game 57-39. With that win, Athens Drive brought their scoring average up to 50.4 points per game.

Athens Drive's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Derek Crumpton led the charge by scoring 19 points along with three steals and two blocks. That's the first time this season that Crumpton posted two or more blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Ryan Poggioli, who scored 12 points along with six rebounds.

Athens Drive's win ended a four-game drought on the road and puts them at 5-10. As for Enloe, they bumped their record down to 3-13 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Athens Drive will head out on the road to take on Leesville Road at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Leesville Road is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak. As for Enloe, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Sanderson at 6:30 p.m. Hopefully Sanderson focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 13 on Friday.
