Soccer Recap: Moffat County Takes a Loss

Moffat County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss. They came up short against the Steamboat Springs Sailors, falling 10-0. While losing is never fun, Moffat County can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Colorado soccer rankings (they are ranked 218th, while Steamboat Springs are ranked 97th).

Moffat County's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Steamboat Springs, they pushed their record up to 4-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Moffat County wasted no time getting back out on the pitch and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 loss against Rifle on the 8th. As for Steamboat Springs, they have also already played their next contest, a 1-1 draw against Roaring Fork on the 9th.
