Soccer Game Preview: Cupertino vs. Lynbrook

The Cupertino Pioneers will square off against the Lynbrook Vikings at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. Both come into the match bolstered by wins in their previous matches.

Cupertino took a loss when they played away from home on Thursday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed on Tuesday. They won by a goal and slipped past Monta Vista 2-1. The score was all tied up 1-1 at the break, but the Pioneers were the better team in the second half.

Meanwhile, Lynbrook kept a clean sheet against MacDonald on Tuesday. They were the clear victor by a 3-0 margin over the Condor. The Vikings' winning goal came courtesy of Reagan Markert.

Lynbrook's win bumped their record up to 8-4-2. As for Cupertino, they now have a winning record of 7-6-1.
