Volleyball Recap: King Snaps Six-Game Streak of Losses at Home + How To Watch

After having lost a blowout in their previous game against JW North, King was happy to have turned things around on Monday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Oak Hills Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Wolves also won the last time the pair played back in October of 2017.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: King took every set by at least ten points. The match finished with set scores of 25-14, 25-12, 25-15.

King was led to victory by Angeline Morales and Olivia Manley. Morales had 20 digs and two aces, while Manley had four digs and three assists. The dominant performance also gave Morales a new career-high in assists (four).

King's victory ended a six-game drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-4. As for Oak Hills, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Coming up, King will host Redlands East Valley at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. As for Oak Hills, they are taking a road trip to challenge Silverado at 5:15 p.m. on Wednesday.
