Kenton is on a five-game streak of home losses, and Cory-Rawson a ten-game streak of away losses dating back to last season. However, someone's due for a change in luck on Friday. The Kenton Wildcats will be playing at home against the Cory-Rawson Fighting Hornets at 5:00 p.m. Cory-Rawson took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Kenton, who comes in off a win.

Kenton is headed into the contest having just posted their closest win since April 3, 2025 on Thursday. They narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past Ada 7-5.

Meanwhile, Cory-Rawson lost 13-3 to Botkins on Wednesday.

Dom Moon made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with four stolen bases and two runs. He is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as he's now snagged at least one in each of the last nine games he's played.

Cory-Rawson's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Kenton, their win bumped their record up to 4-10.
