Baseball Recap: Norristown Comes Up Short

Norristown's last matchup with Perkiomen Valley could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's match on Friday. The Eagles lost 11-3 to the Vikings. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Eagles of the 7-5 loss they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in April of 2024.

Norristown saw seven different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Chase Logan, who went 3-for-4 with one double and one RBI. That RBI marked the first that Logan has brought in this season.

Norristown's defeat dropped their record down to 4-11. As for Perkiomen Valley, their win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norristown will welcome Pope John Paul II at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Perkiomen Valley, they will take on Spring-Ford at 4:00 p.m. on Monday. The Rams will roll in looking for their sixth straight victory, something the Vikings surely won't give up without a fight.
