Football Recap: Lyons-Decatur Northeast Cougars vs. Walthill Blujays        
        
		
             There's no place like home for Lyons-Decatur Northeast, who bounced back after a  loss on the road  last Friday. They blew past the Walthill Blujays 62-12 at home  on Friday. Considering the Cougars have won four contests by more than 30  points this season, Friday's  blowout was nothing new.
 It was another big night for  Landen Cooper, who rushed for 121 yards and three touchdowns on only ten carries. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 121  rushing yards dating back to last season.  Gavin Hardeman was in the mix  as well, providing Lyons-Decatur Northeast with two touchdowns.
 Perhaps unsurprisingly given the score, Lyons-Decatur Northeast was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 212  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 172  rushing yards in 16 consecutive  matchups  dating back to last season.

Lyons-Decatur Northeast has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 167 points over their last three games. Walthill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
