Football Recap: Dayton Takes a Loss

Dayton's game on Friday was all tied up 0-0 at the half, but sadly for them it didn't stay that way. They took an 18-0 bruising from the Bellevue Tigers. The contest marked the first time this year in which the Greendevils were not able to get on the board.

Dayton is on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-5. As for Bellevue, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record up to 5-2.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Dayton is set to take on their familiar foe Newport Central Catholic at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Meanwhile, Bellevue will square off against rival Newport at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
