Volleyball Recap: Bertrand Takes a Loss

Bertrand was the 2-0 winner over Ainsworth when they last played one another back in October of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Bulldogs on Saturday.

Addy Sand paced Bertrand's offense, picking up four kills. Sand got some help from Addison Andersen and her 13 assists.

Bertrand has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 14 of their last 16 matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 4-21 record this season. As for Ainsworth, the win made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 8-15.

Looking ahead, Bertrand will be taking part in a tournament against Cambridge at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Ainsworth, they have already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Neligh-Oakdale on the 14th.
