Schalick took a nine-run defeat the last time they faced off against Pennsville Memorial, but this time they managed to keep it close and that made all the difference. The Cougars came out on top in a nail-biter against the Eagles on Tuesday, sneaking past 4-3. The win was familiar territory for the Cougars, who have now won four matchups in a row.

Schalick's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 13-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.3 runs on average over those games. As for Pennsville Memorial, the loss snapped their winning streak at eight games and leaves them with a 21-4 record.

As of now, neither Schalick nor the Eagles have any future games scheduled.
