Preview: Tahoma Bears vs. Olympia Bears
After four games on the road, Tahoma is heading back home. They will take on the Olympia Bears at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Tahoma has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 987 points over their last 14 games.
Tahoma stacked a fifth blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Saturday. They claimed a resounding 72-28 victory over Mt. Rainier on the road. That 44 points margin sets a new team best for Tahoma this season.
It was another big night for Adam Davis, who scored 21 points. Carter Stonerock was another key contributor, scoring 11 points.
Meanwhile, Olympia entered their tilt with Bethel with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. Olympia came out on top against Bethel by a score of 60-52 on Wednesday. Given Olympia's advantage in MaxPreps' Washington basketball rankings (they are ranked 37th, while Bethel is ranked 250th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Tahoma has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-4 record this season. As for Olympia, their win bumped their record up to 9-3.
