Recap: North Thurston Rams vs. Timberline Blazers
The North Thurston Rams have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won six games by 29 points or more this season. They simply couldn't be stopped on Wednesday as they easily beat Timberline 67-38 on the road. North Thurston's victory was nothing new given the team hasn't lost yet this season.
Soraya Ogaldez continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, dropping a triple-double on 30 points, ten rebounds, and ten assists. The game was her ninth in a row with at least ten points. Alexis Meyer was another key contributor, scoring 15 points along with seven rebounds.
North Thurston's win was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-0. Those good results were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 71.3 points per game. As for Timberline, their defeat ended a six-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 12-1.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. North Thurston will challenge Capital at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Capital will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Washington Rankings (they are ranked 200th, while North Thurston is ranked 16th). As for Timberline, they will head out on the road to face off against River Ridge at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
