Football Recap: Crook County Takes a Loss

Crook County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Saturday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They took a blow against the Summit Storm, falling 37-7. While losing is never fun, the Cowboys can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oregon football rankings (they are ranked 70th, while the Storm are ranked sixth).

Crook County's defeat dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Summit, they pushed their record up to 8-0 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road.

Coincidentally, Crook County and Summit will both be playing Caldera the next time they take the field. The Cowboys will head out to face Caldera at 7:00 p.m. on Friday, while the Storm will host them at 7:00 p.m. on the 31st.
