With a playoff win on the line, Clarendon rose to the challenge on Friday. They blew past the Hale Center Owls 12-1. The result was nothing new for the Broncos, who have now won 17 games by 11 runs or more so far this season.

The victory was the fifth in a row for Clarendon, bringing their record up to 22-5-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.2 runs on average over those games. As for Hale Center, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 23-7.

As of now, neither Clarendon nor the Owls have any future games scheduled.
