Basketball Recap: Chandler Takes a Loss

Chandler lost against Ripley back in January of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Monday. The Chandler Lions were beaten by the Ripley Warriors 55-23. While losing is never fun, the Lions can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Oklahoma basketball rankings (they are ranked 204th, while the Warriors are ranked 67th).

The loss snapped Chandler's winning streak at three games and leaves them with a 6-4 record. As for Ripley, their victory was their 13th straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 11-2.

Chandler has already played their next matchup, a 35-28 defeat against Prague on the 14th. As for Ripley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-20 win against Yale on the 14th.
