3A District 1 recap December 3, 2013
Blanchard extended the longest winning streak in 3A District 1 this week by beating Lincoln Christian, 42-13. This was the team's 12th consecutive win.
Tuttle was able to crack the Top 25 in the state rankings this week after a bye. The Tigers came in at 24 in the state poll after placing at number 35 last week.
Jones's Clayton Sims and Levi Fox have formed a dream team this season, leading the league in both passing and receiving yards. Sims has thrown for 2,165 yards this season, while Fox has 51 catches for 768 yards. Blanchard's Braden Stringer leads the league in rushing yards with 2,882.
Jeff Craig's team took down the Bulldogs 42-13 last week, the largest margin of any game. Stringer ran for 338 yards in the win.
