Volleyball Recap: Gertz-Ressler Takes a Loss

Gertz-Ressler was not able to break out of their rough patch on Tuesday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They took a 3-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Animo Venice Pirates.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-8, 25-12, 19-25, 25-7.

Gertz-Ressler's loss dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Animo Venice, they pushed their record up to 10-1 with the victory, which was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season.

Looking ahead, Gertz-Ressler will challenge New Designs University Park at 2:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Animo Venice, they will face off against Animo Pat Brown at 4:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
