Max Cash put up the most runs he's had since back in April of 2024 on Saturday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, scoring two runs and stealing a base while getting on base in all five of his plate appearances. He also tossed no walks, which is notable because University is undefeated when he allows at most one walk, but 0-4 otherwise.

Cash's strong effort led University over Hampshire and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hampshire is limping into the matchup having lost eight straight at home dating back to last season.
