Benet Academy is 8-0-1 against Marist since April of 2016 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Wednesday. The Redwings will be playing at home against the RedHawks at 4:30 p.m. Neither squad made it on the board the last time they hit the pitch, so they've probably got a bit of extra motivation.

Benet Academy is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Illinois' top teams: Lyons, who was ranked seventh at the time (Benet Academy was ranked 11th). The Redwings fell just short of the Lions by a score of 2-1 on Saturday.

Benet Academy's goal came courtesy of Genevieve Burda, who's now up to nine this season.

Meanwhile, while the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Marist who was credited with the win on Sunday. The RedHawks got it done in the shootout by posting four goals to Maine South's three.

Benet Academy's loss dropped their record down to 13-2. As for Marist, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 12 contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 14-2-2 record this season.

Benet Academy got the 'W' in their previous meeting back in May of 2025 against Marist by a conclusive 4-0 score. Will the Redwings repeat their success, or do the RedHawks have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
