Recap: The Woodlands Christian Academy Warriors vs. Second Baptist Eagles
The Woodlands Christian Academy Warriors's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Friday after their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a rough 49-12 loss at the hands of Second Baptist. The Woodlands Christian Academy has struggled against Second Baptist recently, as their contest on Friday was their fifth consecutive lost matchup.
Jonathan Vidal threw for 84 yards on 12 of 17 attempts. Logan Mills was his top target, picking up 51 receiving yards and a touchdown. On the ground, Beau Ellis rushed for 46 yards.
The Woodlands Christian Academy's defeat dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Second Baptist, the victory (which was their fifth in a row) raised their record to 6-4.
The Woodlands Christian Academy will head out on the road to face off against Regents at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. One thing working in Regents' favor is that they have now posted big point totals every time they've taken the field this season. As for Second Baptist, they will be playing at home against St. Joseph Academy at 5:00 p.m. on Friday. St. Joseph Academy is hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
