Softball Recap: Knott County Central Comes Up Short

Knott County Central was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 6-5 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jenkins Cavaliers. Give some credit to the fans of both teams: the last six times they've met, the home team has come away the winner.

Knott County Central's defeat dropped their record down to 12-22. As for Jenkins, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 12-8 record this season.
