Football Recap: St. Martin's Episcopal Comes Up Short at Home Against Pearl River

St. Martin's Episcopal unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. The contest between the Saints and the Pearl River Rebels didn't end well, with the Saints falling 34-16. The Saints were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Rebels apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in September of 2024.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. St. Martin's Episcopal is headed away from home for the first time to take on Westminster Christian Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for Pearl River, they will head out to face off against South Lafourche at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
