Basketball Recap: Fairfax Comes Up Short

Fairfax suffered their closest loss since January 25th on Friday. They fell just short of the Alexandria City Titans by a score of 47-44. The Lions were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Titans apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in January.

Fairfax's loss dropped their record down to 2-2. As for Alexandria City, with the win, they broke their four-game losing streak and moved their record to 3-4.

Fairfax and Lightridge will round out the year against one another at at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Alexandria City, they won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Woodbridge at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
