Soccer Game Preview: Franklin County vs. West Marion + Official Tickets

For the first time this season, Franklin County will have a chance to prove themselves in a conference matchup. They will host the West Marion Trojans at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Franklin County will be strutting in after a win while West Marion will be coming in after a defeat.

Franklin County took a loss when they played away from home last Tuesday, but their home fans gave them all the motivation they needed last Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 4-1 margin over North Pike. The high-scoring effort was just what Franklin County needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

They hit North Pike with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Caden Tyson, Lawson Murray, Russell Cameron, and Alex Scott.

Meanwhile, Thursday just wasn't the day for West Marion's offense. They came up short against Hattiesburg HomeSchool last Thursday, falling 7-0.

Franklin County now has a winning record of 3-2. As for West Marion, their loss dropped their record down to 0-5.
