 Boone Grove entered their tilt with Hebron with two consecutive wins  but they'll enter their next game with three. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with  a  2-1  victory over the Hebron Hawks  on Saturday. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Boone Grove also won the last time the pair played  back in April.
  Natalee Meinert spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered only one earned run on three hits and racked up nine Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  given up  more than two  walks in three consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  Emily Veschak was  incredible,  going 2-for-3 with a  home run and two  RBI.
 On Hebron's side, they also let their pitcher toss all seven innings and she was also dialed-in:  Brooke Cunningham gave up  just two earned runs on three hits.
 On the hitting side,  Addison Toczek made the most of her time at bat despite the final result and  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
 Boone Grove has  been performing  incredibly well recently as they've  won 12 of their last 13 contests,  which provided a nice bump to their 16-4 record  this season. As for Hebron, their loss  ended  a  five-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 12-9.
 Boone Grove will be playing at home against South Central at 4:00  p.m.  on Saturday. Boone Grove is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.4  runs per game  this season. As for Hebron, they are on the road again  on Monday to play Griffith at 5:00  p.m. One thing working in Griffith's favor is that they have posted big  run totals  in their last three matchups.
