Basketball Recap: Columbia Christian Takes a Loss

Columbia Christian was the 72-59 winner over Vernonia/Jewell when they last played one another back in January, but their luck changed this time around. The Columbia Christian Knights came up short against Vernonia/Jewell on Friday, falling 68-45. The Knights have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Columbia Christian's loss dropped their record down to 7-15. As for Vernonia/Jewell, their victory bumped their record up to 6-19.

Columbia Christian wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next contest, a 68-45 defeat against Vernonia on the 7th. As for Vernonia/Jewell, they will welcome Nestucca at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Nestucca will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Vernonia/Jewell surely won't give up without a fight.
