Basketball Recap: Birdville Continues Road Dominance on Friday

Colleyville Heritage typically has all the answers at home, but on Friday Birdville proved too difficult a challenge. They enjoyed a cozy 76-61 win over the Colleyville Heritage Panthers. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 72-60 back in January.

Colleyville Heritage's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Camden Coburn, who went 7 of 14 en route to 16 points. That's the most points Coburn has posted since back in December of 2024. Another player making a difference was Sameer Johnson, who earned 13 points.

Birdville pushed their record up to 29-2 with the victory, which was their eighth straight on the road. As for Colleyville Heritage, their loss dropped their record down to 15-14.
