Baseball Game Preview: Lincolnwood Lancers vs. Central A & M Raiders

The Lincolnwood Lancers will face off against the Central A & M Raiders at 4:30 p.m. on Monday. The timing is sure in Lincolnwood's favor as the squad sits on six straight wins at home while Central A & M has been banged up by three consecutive losses on the road.

Lincolnwood is coming in off a wild two-game stretch: after soaring to ten runs on Thursday, they were much more limited against Okaw Valley on Friday. They took a 6-1 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Timberwolves.

Meanwhile, Central A & M also suffered a loss in their last game, falling to Shelbyville by a score of 7-2.

Central A & M's defeat dropped their record down to 3-16. As for Lincolnwood, their loss dropped their record down to 14-6.

Lincolnwood skirted past Central A & M 7-5 when the teams last played back in May of 2023. Do the Lancers have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Raiders turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
