Volleyball Recap: Danville Comes Up Short

Danville lost against Watseka back in September of 2022 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Vikings fell 2-0 to the Warriors.

Danville's loss dropped their record down to 1-15. As for Watseka, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 14-6.

Looking ahead, Danville will host Champaign Central at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The Vikings are facing the Maroons at the right time seeing as the Maroons are stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Watseka, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 2-1 win against Gardner-South Wilmington on the 27th.
