Doddridge County was handed a 23-point loss in their previous outing, but that didn't affect their clutch gene on Wednesday. They slipped by the Buffalo Bison 63-62. For the Bulldogs, this counts as revenge for the 51-49 victory the Bison walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2018.

Jaden Solomon was his usual excellent self, almost dropping a double-double with 20 points and nine boards. That's the most points he has posted since back in February of 2025. The team also got some help courtesy of Heston Hayes, who put up eight points.

Doddridge County's win bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Buffalo, their defeat was their first in the region, dropping their region record down to 9-1 and their overall record down to 13-4.

Looking ahead, Doddridge County will face off against Parkersburg Catholic at 8:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Bulldogs will be up against the Crusaders' rather soft defense (which has allowed 53.28 points per contest), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance. As for Buffalo, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 71-50 victory against Sissonville on the 19th.
