Brewer managed to keep up with Fairview until halftime on Friday, but things quickly went downhill from there. The Patriots lost 5-2 to the Aggies. Brewer's defeat signaled the end of their four-game winning streak.

Ryan Murhpree wasn't going to let Fairview walk away unscathed as he scored both of Brewer's goals, bringing his season total up to 22 goals.

Brewer's loss dropped their record down to 17-4. As for Fairview, they are on a roll lately: they've won seven of their last nine games. That's provided a nice bump to their 8-3-1 record this season.

Brewer is taking a road trip to face off against Boaz at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Fairview, they will challenge Haleyville at 7:00 p.m. on Monday.
