Baseball Game Preview: Lamar Christian Lions vs. Forrest County Agricultural Aggies

The Lamar Christian Lions will head out to challenge the Forrest County Agricultural Aggies at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Forrest County Agricultural took a loss in their last contest and will be looking to turn the tables on Lamar Christian, who comes in off a win.

If Lamar Christian beats Forrest County Agricultural with six runs on Friday, it's going to be the squad's new lucky number: they've won their past two games with that exact score. The Lions walked away with a 6-3 win over Hattiesburg HomeSchool on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

DJ Parhm was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with one home run, three runs, and one triple. That's the most hits he has posted since back in February of 2024. Jackson McCrory also deserves some recognition as he snagged his first stolen base of the season.

Meanwhile, Forrest County Agricultural lost 13-6 to St. Stanislaus on Saturday.

Preston Anderson made the most of his time at bat despite the final result and scored a run while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Parks Brock was another key player, scoring two runs while going 2-for-3.

Lamar Christian's victory bumped their record up to 7-4. As for Forrest County Agricultural, they have been struggling recently as they've lost four of their last five matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 11-11 record this season.
